Transforming Lives, Honoring Roots

Tranformative therapy and coaching rooted
in cultural understanding.

Our Vision

Moksha Collective was founded to bridge the gap in mental health care for immigrants, children of immigrants, and people of color, with a focus on South Asian and Indian-Caribbean communities. This practice understands the profound impact of cultural stigma, family expectations, and the fear of being misunderstood, creating a space where these challenges are met with care and compassion.

At its core, Moksha Collective embodies the essence of moksha, or liberation, by helping individuals and couples break free from the weight of cultural expectations and personal struggles. It’s a space where tradition is honored, struggles are acknowledged, and healing feels possible.

Hi! I'm Malini!

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (FL & NJ) Accelerated Resolution Therapy Trained (ART)

Malini E. Ramnarine is a Trinidadian-American therapist, coach, and entrepreneur passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate the intersection of culture, identity, and financial literacy. Growing up in a family affected by substance abuse, she witnessed how cultural expectations and unspoken struggles can weigh people down.

These experiences shaped her vision for Moksha Collective, a space where South Asian and Indo-Caribbean individuals can rewrite their stories, reclaim their voice, and find liberation (moksha, as it’s known in Sanskrit).

Malini began her career in corporate finance before transitioning into mental health, where she earned her master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy.
